1997 Russian Figure Skating Championships

The 1997 Russian Figure Skating Championships (Russian: Чемпионат России по фигурному катанию на коньках 1997) is held annually to determine the Russian national champions. Skaters compete in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies singles, pair skating, and ice dancing. The results of the 1997 Nationals were one of the criteria used to pick the Russian teams to the 1997 European Figure Skating Championships and the 1997 World Figure Skating Championships.

The 1997 championships took place in Moscow from December 26 through 29th, 1996.
