The 1980 Washington Huskies football team was an American football team that represented the University of Washington during the 1980 NCAA Division I-A football season. In its sixth season under head coach Don James, the team compiled a 9–3 record, finished in first place in the Pacific-10 Conference, lost to Michigan in the 1981 Rose Bowl, and outscored its opponents by a combined total of 333 to 198.Tom Flick was selected as the team's most valuable player. Flick, Ken Gardner, Rusty Olsen, and Randy Van Divier were the team captains.
