The 1969 San Francisco State Gators football team represented San Francisco State College during the 1969 College Division football season.

San Francisco State competed in the Far Western Conference (FWC). The Gators were led by ninth-year head coach Vic Rowen. They played home games at Cox Stadium in San Francisco, California. The team finished the regular season with a record of three wins and seven losses (3–7, 1–4 FWC). It was the first losing season for the Gators since 1952. For the season the team was outscored by its opponents 151–305.
