The 1966 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets football team represented the Georgia Institute of Technology during the 1966 college football season. The Yellow Jackets were led by head coach Bobby Dodd, in his 22nd and final year with the team, and played their home games at Grant Field in Atlanta, Georgia. They competed as independents, winning their first nine games of the year before losing to rival Georgia. Georgia Tech finished the regular season with a record of 9–1 and were ranked 8th in both final polls. They were invited to the 1967 Orange Bowl, where they lost to Florida.
