The 1965 Utah Utes football team represented the University of Utah during the 1965 college football season. Home games were played on campus in Salt Lake City at Ute Stadium.

Under eighth-year head coach Ray Nagel, the Utes were 3–7 overall and 1–3 in the Western Athletic Conference (WAC). Following a 2–2 start, Utah won just once in the final six games. After the season in December, Nagel left for the University of Iowa in the Big Ten Conference.
