The 1958 San Francisco State Gators football team represented San Francisco State College during the 1958 College Division football season.
San Francisco State competed in the Far Western Conference (FWC). The Gators were led by 9th-year head coach Joe Verducci. They played home games at Cox Stadium in San Francisco, California. The team finished the season as champion of the FWC, with a record of seven wins and three losses (7–3, 4–1 FWC). This was the third straight title for the Gators. For the season the team outscored its opponents 184–146.
