The 1953 Los Angeles State Diablos football team represented Los Angeles State during the 1953 College Division football season.

Los Angeles State competed in the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA). The team was led by third-year head coach Leonard (Bud) Adams, who had been the leader of the team since the school started playing intercollegiate football in 1951. The Diablos played home games at Snyder Stadium. They finished the season with a record of two wins and seven losses (2–7, 1–4 CCAA).

No Los Angeles State players were selected in the 1954 NFL Draft.
