The 1947 San Francisco State Gators football team represented San Francisco State College during the 1947 college football season.

San Francisco State competed in the Far Western Conference (FWC). The Gators were led by head coach Dick Boyle. Boyle was in the second year of his second stint as head coach of the team. They played home games at Cox Stadium in San Francisco, California. The team finished with a record of two wins and five losses (2–5, 1–3 FWC). For the season the team was outscored by its opponents 33–117.

No San Francisco State players were selected in the 1948 NFL Draft.
