The 1946 Chico State Wildcats football team represented Chico State College during the 1946 college football season. Chico State competed in the Far Western Conference in 1946. They played home games at Chico High School in Chico, California. This was the first team Chico State fielded in four years. They had no team during the war years of 1943–1945.
The 1946 Wildcats were led by fifth-year head coach Roy Bohler. Chico State finished the season with a record of two wins and seven losses (2–7, 1–1 FWC). The Wildcats were outscored by their opponents 61–109 for the season.
No Chico State players were selected in the 1947 NFL Draft.
