The 1939 Fresno State Bulldogs football team represented Fresno State Normal School during the 1939 college football season.

Fresno State competed in the inaugural year of the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA). They had previously been part of the Far Western Conference (FWC) from 1925–1938. The team was led by fourth-year head coach James Bradshaw and played home games at Fresno State College Stadium on the campus of Fresno City College in Fresno, California. They finished the season with a record of ten wins and one loss (10–1, 1–1 CCAA). The Bulldogs outscored their opponents 244–98 for the season.

No Fresno State Bulldog players were selected in the 1940 NFL Draft.
