The 1939 Cornell Big Red football team represented Cornell University in the 1939 college football season. They finished with an 8–0 record and were named national champions by Litkenhous and the Sagarin Ratings. They outscored their opponents 197 to 52. After capping off a perfect season, Cornell declined a bid to the Rose Bowl so that the football players could catch up on their schoolwork.
