The 1937–38 Ranji Trophy was the fourth season of the Ranji Trophy that was contested between 18 teams in four zones in a knockout format. Hyderabad defeated the defending champions Nawanagar in the final.
The regular semifinals were not held this year because of the absence of teams. Hyderabad from the South Zone and Nawanagar from the West played the finals.
The team that won the zonal title is listed in bold. The teams are listed in the approximate order in which they finished in the zone.
