1927-28 SM-sarja season

The 1927–28 SM-sarja season was an ice hockey tournament set up by the Finnish Ball Association. The first ever Finnish ice hockey championships featured six teams from three cities.

KIF did not play in the second round and automatically advanced to Final.

Viipurin Reipas wins the first-ever Finnish Ice Hockey Championship.
