The 1923–24 North Carolina Tar Heels men's basketball team represented the University of North Carolina during the 1923–24 NCAA men's basketball season in the United States. The head coach was Norman Shepard, coaching in his first and only season with the Tar Heels. The team finished the season with a 26–0 record and was retroactively named the national champion by the Helms Athletic Foundation and the Premo-Porretta Power Poll.
