The 1885–86 Football Association Challenge Cup was the fifteenth staging of the FA Cup, England's oldest football tournament. One hundred and thirty teams entered, sixteen more than the previous season, although seven of the one hundred and thirty never played a match. Blackburn Rovers retain the cup for the third time in a row. As of 2017, they were the last side to achieve FA Cup hat-trick.
