-ismist Recordings
-ismist Recordings was founded in 1992 as -ism Recordings by Dan Schlissel. In 1998 its most successful band, Slipknot, left the label. In 2001 the label spun out its comedy recordings into Stand Up! Records, which Shlissel ran in Minneapolis, taking Lewis Black and Doug Stanhope to the new label.
