On the Front Page is a 1926 American comedy film featuring Stan Laurel.
After being beaten to a scandalous story involving Countess Polasky (Rich), James W. Hornby (Davis) assigns his son (Brooke) 24 hours to find an even more scandalous story about the countess.
After spending the night in the wrong street looking for the wrong countess, young Hornby comes up with a plan: the butler (Laurel) will be seen in a compromising situation with the countess, and then they will be photographed and the photo published.
