Mongolian military ranks

There are various different ranks within the Mongolian Armed Forces, each falls into a category depending on what it's pay-grade would be. Those are as follows:

The General Staff of the Mongolian Military does not hold a rank equivalent to the NATO Code of 'OF-10', meaning that in the event of a conflict or war, the nation's president will hold the role of Commander in Chief. The current Chief of General Staff holds the position of 'Lieutenant General', making the 'General rank at this time obsolete.

The Mongolian Military's Officers are responsible for the day-to-day running of the military, of which follows a strict chain of command with each position reporting directly to the one senior of it, the only difference being that the 'Colonel' would often be in-charge of a military camp and would thus report to any member of the General Staff.

Mongolian Military

The Mongolian Military's Non Commissioned Officers are responsible for the supervision of the conscripted ranks. This includes organizing their training alongside the conscription that the Mongolian Government enforces.

Mongolian Military

The Conscripted ranks of the Mongolian Military are often the maximum of what can be achieved through Mongolia's conscription period of 12 months. Although it falls under this pay-grade, Senior Corporals often co-operate with the NCOs and assist in the training of the conscripts (which are regularly Privates or Lance Corporals).
