Martin Sellner (born January 8, 1989) is an Austrian activist, student, and the leader of the "New Right"Identitarian Movement of Austria (German: Identitäre Bewegung Österreichs, IBÖ).
He is considered a part of the alt-right movement by some news organizations.
In April 2016, he disrupted a theatre performance of Elfriede Jelinek's piece, Die Schutzbefohlenen (theatre performance with refugees), backed by around 30 members of his organisation, spilling fake blood. The blood was meant to symbolize the "blood of Bataclan and Brussels" In February 2017, Sellner claimed to have been attacked by hooded left-wing activists at a Vienna U-Bahn station. He drew his pepper spray gun on them. Since this incident, he has been banned from carrying weapons.
Sellner is currently studying philosophy and law in Vienna.
