Margaret Sievwright

Margaret Home Sievwright (19 March 1844 – 9 March 1905) was a New Zealand feminist, political activist and community leader. She was born in Pencaitland, East Lothian, Scotland in 1844. She emigrated to New Zealand in the 1870s, and in 1878, she married the solicitor William Sievwright in Wellington.
