Brigadier John Edward Lloyd (13 April 1894 – 24 December 1965) was an Australian commander that fought in the First and Second World Wars. From 1939–1940 he was the leader of the 16th Battalion, in 1940 he was reassigned to the 2/28th Battalion which he served in for two years (1940–1942), he was finally assigned to the 16th Brigade, in which he served a year (1942–1943).
