Izzy the Frenchie is a French Bulldog (born in California on March 24, 2017) living in Washington DC who gained a large internet and social media following. Izzy made the move to Washington DC as a puppy when her owner Dr Rick Hendrix brought her to his current home. Izzy received world recognition at 5 weeks old when her bath video went viral. The video was trending in the US, Turkey, Thailand, Iran,Philippines and Russia with 24 hours. Popular websites like 9Gag, Storyful, NBC,CBS News and various news programs aired her video. Izzys bath time video hit over 100,000,000 views and over 7 million comments and likes within 3 weeks on all platforms. After the video surfaced Izzy started acquiring a large following on social media and has reached the status of a "celebrity dog.” Izzy the Frenchie appeared in the Washington DC Pride Parade in 2017 where fans flocked to get selfies with the now famous bulldog.
