Hemphill Gallery
Hemphill Fine Arts (Hemphill) is an art gallery in Washington, D.C. Founded by George Hemphill in 1993. In 2004, Hemphill Fine Arts relocated from a historic building in the Georgetown neighborhood to a former automobile showroom on 14th Street in Logan Circle. Hemphill Fine Arts is a member of the Association of International Photography Art Dealers (AIPAD) and the Washington Art Dealers Association.
Notable exhibitions include "Paul Fusco: RFK Funeral train" in 2002, "Vietnam Now & Then" in 2003, "Don Donaghy: Photographs, 1961-1969" in 2006, "Mingering Mike: The Amazing Career of an Imaginary Soul Superstar" in 2007, "Selections from the Barnett-Aden Collection: A Homecoming Celebration" in 2009, "William Christenberry: Vintage Kodak Brownies" in 2010, and "Alma Thomas: Thirteen Studies for Paintings" in 2014.
