Gecko (theatre company)

Gecko is a physical theatre company, led by Artistic Director Amit Lahav.

Gecko’s work has been influenced by David Glass. A major idea with the David Glass Ensemble that can be seen in Gecko's work is the importance of participatory activities. Gecko focuses on their personal experiences, relationships, and emotional responses to the world for inspiration. Gecko have been influenced by Glass’s methodology for creative development, which includes five steps: Preparation, Creative origination, Creative organization, Manifestation/presentation, and Reflection and renewal.
