GAMURS is an esports multi-media company. The company is based in Sydney, Australia and was founded by Riad Chikhani, Phillip Luu, Halim Yoo, Carl Oehme and Malik Akl.
GAMURS' original and formerly primary website, gamurs.com, offered numerous services. The two most prominent were the team finding capabilities, acting as a community hub for numerous video games, as well as their esports journalism and content production. The team finding aspect of the site was spun off into its own entity, TeamFind.com while the esports news portion was merged into Dot Esports. Their writing team included Ryan "Veto" Kish, Patrick Cowley, Connor Bradley, Max Littman, Duncan "Thorin" Shields, and Tomi "lurppis" Kovanen. The writing team was managed by Managing Editor Justin "Bink" Binkowski. Much of the GAMURS staff moved over to Dot Esports with the merger, but many were let go. The site also included a live updates portal on their website to live cast esports games.
GAMURS has launched numerous websites aimed at stat tracking for several video games. These sites include CS:GO Stats, CSGO Squad and Hearthstats.
In February 2017, the team and group finder portion of the GAMURS website was spun-off into its own website.
