The Americas Cup is an international rugby league football tournament to be contested by Canada, Jamaica and the USA. The tournament follows the success of the Americas region of the 2017 Rugby League World Cup qualifying.

Previously the only regular international competition in North America was the Colonial Cup between the USA and Canada. As part of the RLIFs policy of expansion and the introduction of a regular international calendar the America's Cup was established and included Jamaica which gave them the opportunity for regular competitive games.
