Accra Brewery Limited is a brewery based in Accra, Ghana. They are listed on the of the , the GSE All-Share Index. Accra Brewery Limited (ABL), originally known as Overseas brewery limited was resisted in 1931 for the purposes of stabling a brewing industry in the then Gold Coast. Following a new investment law passed in 1975, there was a revision of ownership and the name changed to the current one. Again in 1997, South African Breweries acquired controlling shares in the company. ABL is one of the oldest non-traditional manufacturing businesses in Ghana. ABL brands include Club Beer, Castle Milk Stout, Stone Lager, Club Shandy, Club Muscatella, Club Orange, Club Cola, Castle Milk Malt, Soda, Quinine Tonic which are produced and marketed from their site in Accra. ABL also claim to utilize local raw materials.

Stone Strong Lager, one of the flagship beer brands, brewed by Accra Brewery Limited, has received a Gold Award at the 2012 World Quality Selections, organized by Monde Selection. This is the second international Gold award that Stone Strong Lager has received. Besides, Stone Strong Lager is the only Ghanaian beer brand to have ever won a Monde Selection’s international quality award. Aside the business aspect of the company,they also engage in other activities that seem to give back to the society by funding or sponsoring programs to help facilitate growth/create awareness in the country.ABL in keeping with its tradition of providing financial support to the media, donated GHC10, 000 to the GJA to fund World Press Freedom Day.

Accra Brewery Limited (ABL) is the second largest brewer in Ghana. Sales volumes of some 400,000 hl represent slightly under a third of the total market. Per capita consumption of between 5 and 6 litres is low by African standards and suggests a large informal market for homemade liquor. With its rich portfolio of authentic Ghanaian brands, ABL is well positioned to capture growth in all beverage categories. ABL has one billion authorized shares of which 249,446,664 are issued making its stated capital GH¢7,332,000.00. It has Overseas Breweries Limited as it major shareholders with about 62.9% of the shares outstanding.
