Shahida Parides

Shahida Parides LLC. is an American fashion brand, founded and designed by Shahida Clayton in 2012. Shahida Parides designs, manufactures, and sells ready-to-wear designer dresses, kaftans, separates, casual wear, and evening wear. The company was founded in 2012, and has been featured in several fashion shows around the world. It has been worn by many celebrities including Paris Hilton and Brazilian supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio.

Shahida Parides was founded by Shahida Clayton, an entrepreneur and designer who has been a designer and manufacturer of private label apparel for retailers and boutiques in the U.S., Europe, Australia, and the Middle East. After over a decade of experience in designing and producing apparel, she launched her own label which would realize her vision that "... fashion style should be a diverse mix of patterns, colors, materials, and layers coming together in a way that tells a story." Shahida Parides debuted at the LA Fashion Week 2012 to showcase its Spring/Summer 2013 collection. Yasmin Santana of 'The Los Angeles Fashion' remarked, "... Her fashion designs were one of my favorites of the night. I loved her flowy Boho chic halter dress which was my personal favorite."

Shahida Parides dresses have been worn by celebrities such as Paris Hilton,Alessandra Ambrosio, Kyle Richards,Lisa Vanderpump, Aracely Arámbula,Audrina Patridge, Joss Stone, Melissa Gorga, Adina Porter, Olivia Palermo, and Kimberley Garner. Clayton has stated her design philosophy is to utilize natural dyes, organic fabrics, and hand crafting techniques in place of machines, asked to incorporate modern innovative digital design technology for a three dimensional effect. Shahida Parides has been featured in publications such as In Touch Weekly,Life & Style,Us Weekly, and Who, What, Wear.
