Serena Guen is a publisher, businesswoman and philanthropist based in London. She is the world's youngest media proprietor and named the "Mark Zuckerberg of publishing" by Bloomberg.


In 2012 Guen founded SUITCASE Magazine, a multimedia travel magazine from her dorm room at New York University. Guen ran it remotely during her senior year in New York City before eventually settling back in London. SUITCASE prints four editions a year, in addition to its website (SUITCASEmag.com) which is updated daily, and is circulated globally across all seven continents.

Since 2014 Guen has been part of the steering committee for UNICEF Next Generation London Team. In 2016, Guen founded the #CookForSyria movement with Clerkenwellboy. The movement raised money for UNICEF's Syria appeal in London, Sydney and Melbourne to date. It also produced a best-selling cookbook: Cook For Syria the Recipe Book.

On September 2014 she received a Women of the Future Award for media, and was nominated for the London Evening Standard 25 Under 25 Most Influential people in the British capital. Guen has been shortlisted for Young Travel Entrepreneur of the Year Award in the UK's Travel and Hospitality Hall of Fame 2016 and is often called upon for her expertise in travel by outlets such as CNBC. In 2017, Guen was listed as one of Forbes 30 under 30 for media and has fronted campaigns for Jack Wills Young Briton's,Urban Outfitters and Clinique's Face Forward.
