NU Energy Dance Music

NU Energy Dance Music is the loose term that describes a style that is driven by an often intense pulsating, modulating energy; the difference being that the music is not relying solely on the "Kick" to create its strength and presence. Although the style is varied and crosses dance music genres it is still a development that was initially driven by the developments in technology and the availability of the equipment.

A pioneer of the sound was the British DJ producer and DJ Blue Peter.

The style was first talked about as NU Energy in 1993 although there are a number of Trance Masters (Trance Music Producers) such as Gary-D (EDM Records) and M-Zone (UK-44 Records) who would claim that the style was in use for some time before although it just had not been named.
