Limerence is a 2012 Italian short film written, directed and starred by Giuseppe Rossi.
A singer is reinventing jazz music, but after being dumped by his girlfriend loses the creative inspiration and falls into a psychological state called limerence, a term coined by the American psychologist Dorothy Tennov to describe the obsessive state of romantic love. To get back the love from his girl he decides to fight in a musical duel, doubtful in the choice between artistic passion and true love.
The Italian premiere was set at the Giffoni Film Festival in July 2012.
