Jaan Talts (born 19 May 1944) is a former Estonian weightlifter and Olympic champion who competed for the Soviet Union.
Born in Massiaru, Laiksaare, Pärnumaa, Talts won a gold medal at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich. He received a silver medal in 1968. Throughout his career, he set 43 world records.
1995–1996 he was member of the Estonian parliament Riigikogu. In 1998 he was elected as a member of the International Weightlifting Federation Hall of Fame.
