Halligan Gara Cup

The International Baseball Club ("Inters") and the Flinders University Baseball & Softball Club ("Flinders") were two of the original teams in the inaugural Winter Baseball Competition that started in 1969.

As two of only three clubs to be still in operation since this inaugural season, a perpetual "cup" was created in 2016 to be played for in all match-ups between the teams.

The cup was named after a legend from each club, resulting in the Fred Halligan - Steve Gara Cup.
