Charissa Cree Chamorro (born April 26, 1977 in Baytown, Texas) is a Chilean American TV actress, best known for her leading roles on such soap operas as Guiding Light as Victoria "Tory" Granger (2001–2002)[1] and One Life to Live (OLTL) as Detective Sophia Pellegrino (1999–2001).[2]
She was recommended by TV Guide to replace Elisabeth Rohm as the Assistant District Attorney on Law & Order (a role that eventually went to Annie Parisse),[3] which would have made Charissa the youngest ADA in Law & Order history.
She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Boston University and has worked extensively in theater.
