Assyrian

Assyrian is a descriptor referring to things related to Assur and the ancient civilization of Assyria. In modern times it may refer to the indigenous Assyrian people of northern Iraq, north east Syria, south east Turkey and north west Iran who claim descent from ancient Assyria.
