Anaxonic neuron

An anaxonic neuron is a neuron where the axon cannot be differentiated from the dendrites. Some sources mention that such neurons have no axons and only dendrites.

They are found in the brain and retina. They are also found in invertebrates.

They act as non-spiking interneurons.
