The 2014 Sony Open Tennis – Men's Singles was the main men's event of the 2014 Sony Open Tennis tennis tournament played in Key Biscane, USA from March 17 through March 30, 2014.

Andy Murray was the defending champion, but lost in the quarterfinals to Novak Djokovic. Djokovic went on to win the title, defeating Rafael Nadal in the final, 6–3, 6–3.

This was the first tour event of any level in the Open Era where two semifinalists issued walkovers to their opponents, resulting in no matches in the semifinal round.

The first round match between Jarkko Nieminen and Bernard Tomic lasted 28 minutes and 20 seconds, thus becoming the shortest recorded professional tennis match in Open Era history.

All seeds receive a bye into the second round.
